Dust control is intended to control dust, not to eliminate it entirely.  When applied, the substance/suppressant adheres to the gravel surface.  These products retain moisture (from rain, humidity, etc.) which weighs down the dust particles, making them less likely to become airborne after a vehicle has passed over the area.

All requests for dust control must be submitted on the current form, available at the municipal office or for download here, and must be accompanied by a deposit of $750.  The deadline for requests is March 31.
